Well greetings from me to you!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know it's been ages since I last posted but life just happens and some stuff just has to give. Anyway enough you are here to see some Christmas Treat Boxes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh22_HsHF3pnuBDI0neU3J4UyKDkWGonJaIksspWyoI1gyVnvlzIyuveeAsIfz0yqXDgfo2Ool4y9obEEoTjC1g9W0aP0jf8uVPaas4T1fRxB6etCa7I2iZwhLu9pEQ4CQKq3phrHcI0hc/s1600/20171202_154537+%25283%2529.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="480" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh22_HsHF3pnuBDI0neU3J4UyKDkWGonJaIksspWyoI1gyVnvlzIyuveeAsIfz0yqXDgfo2Ool4y9obEEoTjC1g9W0aP0jf8uVPaas4T1fRxB6etCa7I2iZwhLu9pEQ4CQKq3phrHcI0hc/s640/20171202_154537+%25283%2529.jpeg" width="384" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now this idea was not mine I saw this on the lovely Jerim's blog, Willowpiggy.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you click<a href="http://www.willowpiggy.co.uk/2017/11/hexagon-christmas-pudding-box-100.html"><b> here</b></a> it will take you to the particular blog post. Jerim gives detailed instructions, measurements and an easy to follow video tutorial. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The only thing I changed was that I used the detailed floral framelits to give the wavy edge to the lids of the pudding boxes. I just lined the die up on the edge and ran it through the big shot and then moved it along the edge and ran it through the big shot again. I had to do this 3 times along the edge of one lid to get the wavy pattern the full length of each lid. Yes a bit time consuming but if you do it production line style you get mighty fast. I did try free hand cutting the wavy edge as Jerim had but mine looked so dodgy, so I had to come up with an alternative. I pulled out all my dies and framelits and found the detailed floral framelit and had my light bulb moment lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made these for Christmas day to put on our Chrissy table, 17 boxes in total.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So a very big shout out to <a href="http://www.willowpiggy.co.uk/2017/11/hexagon-christmas-pudding-box-100.html"><b>Jerim over at Willowpiggy</b></a> for designing these gorgeous boxes, thanks!!!! Please make sure you visit her blog she is amazing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for visiting. Have a fabulous day.</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
here is today's project and I really love how it turned out. Thank goodness for blog surfing, it's great to help inspire you and get you thinking. My mojo had well and truly left the building, well to be perfectly honest my craft mojo had left the universe! Big call I know bet hey.....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, I saw<span style="color: magenta;"><b> </b></span><a href="https://blog.heroarts.com/video-color-layering-peacock-youre-truly-radiant-card/"><span style="color: magenta;"><b>this fabulous card</b></span> </a>over on the Simon Says blog by the super talented Yana Smakula. It was the colours that had me thinking and the fact that feathers were involved that ultimately saw these cards created. I have the beautiful Feather stamp from Kaisercraft and thought this would be perfect to use for my cards. The layout for these cards is the same as when I made <a href="https://girlwithacurlcraft.blogspot.com.au/2016/11/kaisercraft-feather.html"><span style="color: magenta;"><b>these cards</b></span>.</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgucrCLv3b0LOEfV2KtM9H124uaUjFIBXsnaBHV51UnGF768rKzZp_zDkFubEo9N6PUbPGK0w2aw9-khQC5hye46kRWbkw4XVl3PRDMPGPl2_gKNjEfB30JWBYv8AOSWGTWenXWBnOjHq0/s1600/6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgucrCLv3b0LOEfV2KtM9H124uaUjFIBXsnaBHV51UnGF768rKzZp_zDkFubEo9N6PUbPGK0w2aw9-khQC5hye46kRWbkw4XVl3PRDMPGPl2_gKNjEfB30JWBYv8AOSWGTWenXWBnOjHq0/s640/6.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Some cards have a sentiment added, some have no sentiment so I can add one later to suit the occasion.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkYEz9qdhkVGppdhoWCNTjNEaDMjK7Jyc_s-ZRAVy8NsI7cSOlm8Z2UTDjC3Y_3Uk7ayBHqBVgkNdh3uEDTDX-Hl8iOY0Zk0042KSbZhnBsPauPbPky1e7YPSZBru6FOtp4ckoSTdyEGs/s1600/7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkYEz9qdhkVGppdhoWCNTjNEaDMjK7Jyc_s-ZRAVy8NsI7cSOlm8Z2UTDjC3Y_3Uk7ayBHqBVgkNdh3uEDTDX-Hl8iOY0Zk0042KSbZhnBsPauPbPky1e7YPSZBru6FOtp4ckoSTdyEGs/s640/7.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I placed the stamp in my Misti, covered the whole stamp in a light green ink and then just tapped various shades of blue, turquoise and other green inks shades over the top of this and then stamped it on to smooth white CS. I did this same technique on all the cards. I did find that sometimes by tapping the ink pads directly onto the stamp that when I stamped it I got straight edges of ink colour on my card, so to overcome this on subsequent card panels I sort of blended the straight ink pad edges with my finger directly on the stamp before stamping.....I hope that makes sense.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzNbwbz4Rybh5KDjP8dg3vyyH2bw_7yj47xkBx8sx0fgfQciEJGot-4arM7L1t4q9pT_XxOq40aUlY8aDe2KqSY6FcKPuXD-d1ccRkF2qRjoh8eIN_oN8I7-Gsd3pfF__ZZxaON3LDOak/s1600/8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzNbwbz4Rybh5KDjP8dg3vyyH2bw_7yj47xkBx8sx0fgfQciEJGot-4arM7L1t4q9pT_XxOq40aUlY8aDe2KqSY6FcKPuXD-d1ccRkF2qRjoh8eIN_oN8I7-Gsd3pfF__ZZxaON3LDOak/s640/8.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
After I made the blue green cards I thought about what other colours could I use to create the same card but in different colour ways. Here is what I came up with....pink, oranges, yellows and reds.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieSvkM2Fn6Afeg-rJPu0T68kcnP0aBVANymwfAFN6ABX3WIyTsP17Oz0mEk6HbsLEE5TSOdQyxVIBRamzu1qkCm-wa9cE4JA3_etA3_w2rzrMdsxy2BSugBtPSuHyxMiY1_1XEVucdQVY/s1600/10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieSvkM2Fn6Afeg-rJPu0T68kcnP0aBVANymwfAFN6ABX3WIyTsP17Oz0mEk6HbsLEE5TSOdQyxVIBRamzu1qkCm-wa9cE4JA3_etA3_w2rzrMdsxy2BSugBtPSuHyxMiY1_1XEVucdQVY/s640/10.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

A close up of the gold embossed sentiments and the gold matting behind the stamped panel and the coloured card bases.</div>

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The stamped panel was glued to the gold mat and then they were popped up on craft foam for dimension. I think you can just see that in the photo below.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

So what colour way do you prefer?</div>

Have a fabulous day. Cheers Donna ❤</div>

Hi there, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and a Happy New Year to you all!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's been awhile, I've been relaxing and just doing a little crafting.....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So here's the first project for 2017 some little desk calendars. I make calendars every year and pass out as gifts to family and friends and thought I'd share this years calendars with you all.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRDnKdsLvkGmSkakcQ94QTRTk6Fx6ay6yTyM3D2d8Fia5Xa_-JluF_ixFHeGCs7Fq1JcctNxNC-E7vbuIjTUVW8kFUVIcAl273i1SZxO_gJyGU2Ac-F7k22FpfJ46GJab6RY0A1pWhEDg/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRDnKdsLvkGmSkakcQ94QTRTk6Fx6ay6yTyM3D2d8Fia5Xa_-JluF_ixFHeGCs7Fq1JcctNxNC-E7vbuIjTUVW8kFUVIcAl273i1SZxO_gJyGU2Ac-F7k22FpfJ46GJab6RY0A1pWhEDg/s640/1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
A side view so you can see how it stands....and no you don't need glasses the photo is a tad blurry, but it does show how the calendars stand! Oh my goodness the longer I look at this photo the more it's like looking through someone else's glasses and it's very disconcerting so scroll down quickly! So sorry 😉</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUHM21Bb6ESR0M1plhux65_nKel-3Qs9gEdnkgWscHevlKlqaXh2Or_SVs2hb9b096Scvf75tQZjQlB50MKp2Db-ylka6V_g0mqRVmAiBAQb3f7D52vfS57pXwO8gIm5rfdD_CBy7bXVk/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUHM21Bb6ESR0M1plhux65_nKel-3Qs9gEdnkgWscHevlKlqaXh2Or_SVs2hb9b096Scvf75tQZjQlB50MKp2Db-ylka6V_g0mqRVmAiBAQb3f7D52vfS57pXwO8gIm5rfdD_CBy7bXVk/s640/2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Just a couple of them to show that I did change up the floral arrangement a little on each one. Suffice to say out of the 20 I made they all looked slightly different.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhypwECS9cSts7NGZX1geKEvoL8hIxlOMcr1n354AZdYtnFiFv39TgxhI7OzCG0lZnGhbYuIII3nUjfw5UctUXe0mn-NH-j3pD7rdFo8NuWLkPISXhtKSoNGTeeY6B3F4a5c6xRW_Ei-Ik/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhypwECS9cSts7NGZX1geKEvoL8hIxlOMcr1n354AZdYtnFiFv39TgxhI7OzCG0lZnGhbYuIII3nUjfw5UctUXe0mn-NH-j3pD7rdFo8NuWLkPISXhtKSoNGTeeY6B3F4a5c6xRW_Ei-Ik/s640/4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I got two calendars out of one sheet of A4 card stock. I used the Botanical Blooms stamps and framelits from Stampin' Up. The details on the flowers were some lines drawn on each petal with a dark pink marker and the some darker pinky red ink sponged with a dauber in to the middle of each flower. The flower stamens were cut from yellow card stock, that I coloured with the dark pink marker on the straight bits, the ends were left yellow and the centre of each stamen was coloured with a dark brown marker ......I hope that makes sense. I was inspired by this idea for the calendars from <b style="color: magenta;"><a href="https://au.pinterest.com/pin/304696731021303801/">this pinterest post </a> . </b>I had tried a few calendar design ideas but was not feeling the love. So when I saw the <a href="https://au.pinterest.com/pin/304696731021303801/"><b><span style="color: magenta;">floral design on the packaging</span></b></a> "bada bing, bada boom" my calendar was born! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The sentiment is from Kinda Eclectic also from SU as well as the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set that I stamped with kraft ink, stamped off first, then stamped onto the background of the kraft CS.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well that's all today. I hope your day is truly wonderful.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cheers Donna 😁</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
here are some delightful little bags that I will be putting on the Christmas table on Christmas day. These will be placed at each place setting. The little bags contain four chocolates...yummy!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_6_ZiL0ZBhaqw4MjpByKR1szSQzcaRl0Er4ixBh5oP8QJjm0utT1wtqsaMF4FYFVRzt4AXIyWb7E5y1YXd7IWEh5xoIBHYEUC9xW-_IP-XaDzlp-ZzwoNvtw_YfkDBz6_6TmEfcEA1mc/s1600/9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_6_ZiL0ZBhaqw4MjpByKR1szSQzcaRl0Er4ixBh5oP8QJjm0utT1wtqsaMF4FYFVRzt4AXIyWb7E5y1YXd7IWEh5xoIBHYEUC9xW-_IP-XaDzlp-ZzwoNvtw_YfkDBz6_6TmEfcEA1mc/s640/9.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They were fairly easy to make. I set up a production line to get them whipped up pretty quick. The bag was a Stampin' Up Bigz XL Fancy Favour die, sadly now retired. The Merry was from Kaisercraft's Traditional Christmas stamp set. It said Merry Christmas, I cut the stamp in half to be able to just use the word Merry. The Christmas was a Decorative Die from Kaisercraft's Christmas Word pack. Some silver glitter paper and Candy Cane Lane designer series paper also from Stampin' Up.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Hi there, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
here are some more Christmas gift treat holders. I made these for the lovely people who work at my local bakery. They are so lovely and very friendly, so I like to give them a little something at Christmas and Easter. They are a "sunny boy" shape for those if us in Australia or for overseas folk a sour cream container. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVkCfjaoYv3GG18m4ilDd2DD6acQfXjm0IxzrE-7vGpYUTqEPNB4Ae30Kl2bLwdtu_-p4sUSrjYr9HtxntQC0LZ-Mr3prr47TWZe33WNJGDNJk4OEo0wL7euBR3A6fq9Gx4EAYFYADeBA/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVkCfjaoYv3GG18m4ilDd2DD6acQfXjm0IxzrE-7vGpYUTqEPNB4Ae30Kl2bLwdtu_-p4sUSrjYr9HtxntQC0LZ-Mr3prr47TWZe33WNJGDNJk4OEo0wL7euBR3A6fq9Gx4EAYFYADeBA/s640/4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I managed to fit three chocolates into each container. I stamped some cute gingerbread men and gave them a water colour wash with a brown coloured ink. Once dry I used a white gel pen to put on the face and icing! The sentiment and gingerbread man stamp were a gift with a craft magazine, I can't remember which magazine and I no longer have the magazine.</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am finally posting my Christmas cards that I sent out to family and friends this year. I did send these out a couple of weeks ago so it's safe to blog about them now. I have had this card design saved up from last year. I made this card at a stamp club I attended last year and actually made heaps of these cards in January this year, just so I wouldn't forget! I did have to make a heap more but at least I had half made.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My friend who runs the stamp club I love attending told us she had seen this idea on pinterest and sent us the link on how we could recreate this card at home. So pop over to the lovely Lydia's blog to see how she made this beautiful card. She even has a video. Click <b><span style="color: blue;"><a href="http://understandblue.blogspot.com.au/2015/08/but-what-about-soul.html?spref=pi">HERE</a> </span></b>to visit Lydia's amazing blog.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFgjRLx8g-dp3326b9iJQ7KxRX4xD3yN68esanR2bnRFxCWzrCPwtOlGrfbjSfxPuyYxVICx7k6FjdT96EujgjUomPjBlse2Kx9JVGnPPDyVEWy3_BHe_3tOFPUaK3NH-XBOuc3mc5DaM/s1600/5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFgjRLx8g-dp3326b9iJQ7KxRX4xD3yN68esanR2bnRFxCWzrCPwtOlGrfbjSfxPuyYxVICx7k6FjdT96EujgjUomPjBlse2Kx9JVGnPPDyVEWy3_BHe_3tOFPUaK3NH-XBOuc3mc5DaM/s640/5.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I did decide not to pop out the windows and doors and coloured them yellow instead, to represent lights inside the houses. I saw this idea on another blog about colouring the windows yellow but cannot find that link anywhere. It was not with this die it was with a stamp of little houses that had been coloured with copics, I just thought that made sense to me.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you do like my card. I was desperately hoping to get my hands on some sort of glitter spray to spray the sponged night sky but it was sold out everywhere and I am on a waiting list for when it arrives....suffice to say I'm still waiting! I did try using my Wink of Stella and brushing it over the sky but that did not end well so I just left them glitterless 😞</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's it for today. Have a lovely day. </div>

Hi there, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was recently in need of a thank you card for a friend and her lovely daughter recently. They took myself and my daughter out for lunch, it was such a thoughtful gesture and we all had a fabulous day.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So onto the card......</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYBkQ4nNczT9sf_xwPRTorFRqD0R4kHkOd4VDzxrReZ-KrF2DiwFjgca8926FAofRAOWfGJ6tw657wMBdLmyg72tqWYneqJRpTVi5_8cUh27GH_zZrmQnr-H_kdF_sew56O_uTeKcuOoo/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYBkQ4nNczT9sf_xwPRTorFRqD0R4kHkOd4VDzxrReZ-KrF2DiwFjgca8926FAofRAOWfGJ6tw657wMBdLmyg72tqWYneqJRpTVi5_8cUh27GH_zZrmQnr-H_kdF_sew56O_uTeKcuOoo/s640/1.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's fairly self explanatory in it's construction.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I stamped the Baby Bear stamp set from Stampin 'Up. A lovely three step stamp set that uses three different coloured inks. I stamped it onto a smaller piece of card cut out with the rectangular nesting stitched dies. I die cut the word thanks from a WPlus 9 die, Hand Lettered Thanks and the sentiment was white heat embossed from the WPlus 9 stamp set that matches the Hand Lettered Thanks die.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a side view to show that the stamped panel was popped up on craft foam for dimension.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And a close up of the sentiment.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's it folks!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a lovely day. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cheers Donna :)</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you are all well. It's been very busy here, lots of crafting and no blogging....so I'm here to remedy that situation.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have been cruising around many blogs lately and noticed that water colouring seems to be the rage at the moment. So I thought why not have a whirl at that, I had some water colour pencils I could use ( they actually belong to my gorgeous daughter) so why not. Yes, well many attempts later and the bin was full! So I thought I'd take a slowly slowly approach to water colouring and start simple, like real simple....a water colour wash over a heat embossed image. I had just the image so how hard could it be? It was so easy. I used the gorgeous Kaisercraft Feather stamp set that comes with a matching die.....bonus 😉.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So here are my cards.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1YlahGX7eQdD4aqOCxEROQgDi4vhCGWwH6mDphWTqXMIyqWP2gkmVdbrTWxwbsd90ArjuRvUJXOIcwaNXOa9P8Vxzdycf-YxsQU5xVAEkdeUXc0JIjK62hRhDOsCzvlGUknvLVtc8u9A/s1600/5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1YlahGX7eQdD4aqOCxEROQgDi4vhCGWwH6mDphWTqXMIyqWP2gkmVdbrTWxwbsd90ArjuRvUJXOIcwaNXOa9P8Vxzdycf-YxsQU5xVAEkdeUXc0JIjK62hRhDOsCzvlGUknvLVtc8u9A/s640/5.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made five cards in total. Two with a pink water colour wash, two with a purple water colour wash and one with a blue water colour wash</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Firstly, I heat embossed the feather image onto a piece of water colour paper with silver embossing powder. Next I scribbled over each image with a water a colour pencil in a zig- zag fashion. Then I brushed over the pencil with a water colour brush to spread the colour and to get rid of the pencil lines. Once that was dry I flicked some ink over the the water coloured image in a darker hue of the water colour wash with ink and my water colour brush. I then added some silver sequins and matted this onto some brushed silver card stock that was then mounted on craft foam and then finally attached to a coloured piece of card stock in a coordinating colour.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are some close ups. The pink and purple cards are without sentiments. I will put them on when I know what the occasion will be. For now they will just be in my stash.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5HMwzyAUZHS9Mje9nmZK_LrjPK9gyU5wbPV2_0etzpaJfYNtMN8ed0DsV7Nwer3Xn_tsUObj9PA_Byhy7WI4VL0w1qaojFiIVzRwm2X2n95Xrpt4NL4xnQleoTCRMJTOlOU_7kH2IohM/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5HMwzyAUZHS9Mje9nmZK_LrjPK9gyU5wbPV2_0etzpaJfYNtMN8ed0DsV7Nwer3Xn_tsUObj9PA_Byhy7WI4VL0w1qaojFiIVzRwm2X2n95Xrpt4NL4xnQleoTCRMJTOlOU_7kH2IohM/s640/3.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is the purple one and I must say in the photos it looks blue. Trust me it's purple.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The blue card below, has a happy birthday sentiment from an Altenew stamp set called Label Love. I stamped it in versa fine black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, cut it out and popped it up with dimension tape. This card is for my darling daughter's birthday coming up in two weeks. Her favourite colour is blue.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm back to show you the other cards I created using the Paper pad Frosted by Kaisercraft. In my <a href="https://girlwithacurlcraft.blogspot.com.au/2016/11/kaisercraft-frosted.html">l<b><span style="color: magenta;">ast post </span></b></a>I told you how I had gone to my local craft store for a card making class where we were given the Paper pad Frosted & shown how to make several cards. We got to take home the rest of the paper pad once the class was finished. Not wanting to waste the rest of the pad this is what I have made so far.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIh31kQc6_nHkYvoCBpyk3XiuC7wRDiOiin-vsE7KKaYCLBpN7JJUqkM_TO3FF7oZHzJYJFO6i0xb3b3b8yJ345Mr2KkOthjh8wQmVtVW9M4x49c7gJ7rIO6wOSTAn7yGUJ5q_gw7aYXY/s1600/9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIh31kQc6_nHkYvoCBpyk3XiuC7wRDiOiin-vsE7KKaYCLBpN7JJUqkM_TO3FF7oZHzJYJFO6i0xb3b3b8yJ345Mr2KkOthjh8wQmVtVW9M4x49c7gJ7rIO6wOSTAn7yGUJ5q_gw7aYXY/s640/9.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This card was almost identical to one we had made in the class. Everything came from the paper pad except the snow flake. I die cut this out of glittery paper I had in my stash, from a Sizzix die called Snow Flurry I got from Stampin' Up many years ago.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next 3 cards are the same design but with small differences. They all have a piece of the glitter washi tape running down the left hand side of the cardand a piece of patterned paper. A wastree fussy cut out of paper from the paper pad. It was mounted onto another piece from the pad that had been die cut, using the Rectangular nesting stitched dies also from Kaisercraft. Either a snowflake once again die cut out of glittery paper from the Sizzix die called Snow Flurry from Stampin' Up, or a wooden element.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">

The card below is the card I entered into the challenge.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next 3 cards were made using strips of paper from the pad and the washi tape for the background. Again I used the rectangular stitched dies to die cut a rectangle onto which I mounted either a tag, image or sentiment circle also from the pad. Also some snowflake die cut action or wooden element was added to the cards,</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have been busy crafting but not blogging. Last week I went to a card class at my local craft store. We were all given 6 & a 1/2" Paper Pad, Frosted by Kaisercraft. We also received some wooden elements, a snowflake die cut out of glitter paper, some silver glitter washi tape & some silver twine. We were then shown how to make several cards which we did. Here are the cards we made.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxRBtB55sEBjftbTKW3ojHuvl0r-E7_Sy0-Wu11Oof6enaQrmUJn-I-Ro7b0H6DkNrSoUfNgQf-4mGvH8ENj3ijZj-7Jg9M2DGJ7t76tczMFu9yY5FRrJPn7PWzoXlH8H9jZvkGK4kmSY/s1600/5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxRBtB55sEBjftbTKW3ojHuvl0r-E7_Sy0-Wu11Oof6enaQrmUJn-I-Ro7b0H6DkNrSoUfNgQf-4mGvH8ENj3ijZj-7Jg9M2DGJ7t76tczMFu9yY5FRrJPn7PWzoXlH8H9jZvkGK4kmSY/s640/5.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For this card we added lots of layers using the paper from the pad. We cut a length of the silver glitter washi tape, folded it back on itself and flagged the ends, it looks like silver ribbon - I thought this was a very clever idea. The image and greeting also came from the pad. The wooden snowflake is just peeking out from the greeting.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgokJmJ0OyeZAEuIA-cF7Y_l9yjZNo3suPExUrBUUuGBHxInJQ7sZkEJLr7kP6rMIkhnBh7R3nzZMDPvN3hJtBmVtvYarRI1Trp9TRGFbpbN4IDr-wm9i0DZz4JRyD4XQ0fgZ3Th8udSZw/s1600/7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgokJmJ0OyeZAEuIA-cF7Y_l9yjZNo3suPExUrBUUuGBHxInJQ7sZkEJLr7kP6rMIkhnBh7R3nzZMDPvN3hJtBmVtvYarRI1Trp9TRGFbpbN4IDr-wm9i0DZz4JRyD4XQ0fgZ3Th8udSZw/s640/7.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
For this card we were given the stamped frame that we had to fussy cut. I don't know which stamp set this came from or who makes it, sorry I forgot to ask! The white paper with the splats was ordinary white card stock that we dipped and dragged through some blue distress ink that had water added to it. Then we added some splats/flicks of a silver metallic ink. We fussy cut the tree out of a piece of paper from the pad. The image, sentiment circle and music paper also came from the paper pad. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-DwrMUUWInyggJZ6B4DYFK8fno0Nl-B2OuSUC4Sk-5c-VCdExmZjIx2MQAjU5n07Ic1pDVvCNabNxHWrUPES5tucx8XTlfXUyfW49pZv9Dk4MIf5j2sEbARuT3dPyfjSxNLskCjnW3AM/s1600/8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-DwrMUUWInyggJZ6B4DYFK8fno0Nl-B2OuSUC4Sk-5c-VCdExmZjIx2MQAjU5n07Ic1pDVvCNabNxHWrUPES5tucx8XTlfXUyfW49pZv9Dk4MIf5j2sEbARuT3dPyfjSxNLskCjnW3AM/s640/8.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now this card was billed as the masculine card. We pasted the music paper onto a white card base then topped it with a patterned paper that had been embossed so as to add texture and interest. Teresa the lovely lady who ran the class told us that patterned papers that we didn't really like could be put in embossing folders to add some visual interest. Interesting idea, I hadn't thought of that, I usually just don't use them!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWqpoN0IXdNZ_wzSMp4h7ANzzglWY6V-a6jRP6FkWJ8ZDeqri15XHOT1RkdYU1HgOa3Eh8lHE_xtOkVDYKD3PwpHmXTEqKrT_WgeTIoZY6rwnh_LNtDvjRCDAQaVhvs5pw6FGVOArxL4I/s1600/16.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWqpoN0IXdNZ_wzSMp4h7ANzzglWY6V-a6jRP6FkWJ8ZDeqri15XHOT1RkdYU1HgOa3Eh8lHE_xtOkVDYKD3PwpHmXTEqKrT_WgeTIoZY6rwnh_LNtDvjRCDAQaVhvs5pw6FGVOArxL4I/s640/16.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was the paper pad we used. It's actually a great pad full of patterned papers, images, tags, borders, sentiments & greetings. There is a whole collection that goes with this set of papers. It also comes in 12x12" papers. I believe there is even a coordinating stamp set as well. Pop over to <a href="https://www.kaisercraft.com.au/newsite/collections.php?col=209"><b><span style="color: magenta;">Kaisercraft</span></b></a> to check it out. I am not affiliated or linked with Kaisercraft. I just happen to like this particular paper. We got to take the rest of the pad home after the class was finished.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pop back for the next post to see what I made with the rest of this paper pad once I got home, I even surprised my self with what I came up with.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a great day.</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
back again with another card using the adorable Hedgehugs stamp set from Lawn Fawn. They have the cutest critter stamps that are so whimsical.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok here's the card.I made another card with this stamp that had a whole sponged background. You can see that card<a href="https://girlwithacurlcraft.blogspot.com.au/2016/10/lawnfawn-hedgehugs.html"> <b><span style="color: magenta;">HERE</span></b></a>. This time I wanted a quick, clean and simple card that would be easy to mass produce, particularly if you use a Misti.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I stamped the images and sentiment in versa fine black ink, put on some clear embossing powder and heat set it. I then used coloured textas to colour the images, and once coloured put on a coat of Wink of Stella. I stamped the little hearts in red ink.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a close so you can see the shiny Wink of Stella.....yes my Wink of Stella which is usually most bashful when it comes to being photographed played nicely when photographed today!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhIQXWbuU-9fcr22chNTUFFf5nYh1_a3Hyq8fi3qSlXKKp1xc7onuxlevEEOBOX77CMSagByJb9O_687-It00tLXP0uIWN4S8F917TEr1eQMNZr3AJBsW6rpe_fUPYAMjtduSVPFTK4Y0/s1600/sending+hugs+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhIQXWbuU-9fcr22chNTUFFf5nYh1_a3Hyq8fi3qSlXKKp1xc7onuxlevEEOBOX77CMSagByJb9O_687-It00tLXP0uIWN4S8F917TEr1eQMNZr3AJBsW6rpe_fUPYAMjtduSVPFTK4Y0/s640/sending+hugs+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's it for today. Pretty simple and quick. I think I may be a colouring convert! Thanks for stopping by.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hoping your day is magnificent.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cheers Donna :)</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hi there,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I recently went to a craft fair near my house. I had been eagerly anticipating this event for several weeks. To say that I was more than giddy with excitement on the day would be an understatement. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It was awesome!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Whilst there I found this cute little stamp set from Lawn Fawn. My daughter said we had to get it so we could make a card for my mum and step-dad. They had sent us photos of an echidna that had visited their garden the day before...the stamp set reminded us of the echidna. There is a little bit of a similarity between hedgehogs and echidnas in appearance, so we bought the stamp set and matching dies.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
OK here's the card using the gorgeous stamp set Hedgehugs from Lawn Fawn. I love the sentiment. I stamped the hedgehogs and sentiment in black versa fine and then dusted with clear embossing powder and heat set them. I also bought the dies that matched the stamp set so I die cut the images out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoBtRQiAVtNPXLxU0K5SHKqpZKWtZNVhjqwOQ59ZY5I0Tgzc7H3LS_j8O7rSDwnq-y9aT27_n-9YpF3ADJUBynmL0ZY2b6jmoOPAINPBS7pQt1c3t3VcIHMIYMolvY_cTAS5hEB-iQ97M/s1600/hedgehug+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoBtRQiAVtNPXLxU0K5SHKqpZKWtZNVhjqwOQ59ZY5I0Tgzc7H3LS_j8O7rSDwnq-y9aT27_n-9YpF3ADJUBynmL0ZY2b6jmoOPAINPBS7pQt1c3t3VcIHMIYMolvY_cTAS5hEB-iQ97M/s640/hedgehug+1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used a stitched circular nesting die from Kaisercraft and die cut the circle. I sponged green and blue to represent the sky and grass on to the circle and masked a circle for the sun. I coloured the hedgehogs with coloured textas, no fancy copics because I'm rubbish at colouring and shading. I don't normally do hand colouring. I did brush my Wink of Stella over the top of the image once I had completed the colouring, bit hard to see in the photo :( </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a couple of close ups of extra details.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
my crafting is quite sporadic at the moment. My creative spark is on a mini vacation, so rather than craft I'll show you what I have been doing the last couple of weeks</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, if you have visited here lately you'll know that I'm totally "fan-girling" over my new Altenew stamp set, Beautiful Day. So without further ado, here are the latest couple of cards featuring the stamp set.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="text-align: center;"> </span><br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifJSU80K2IvlRsGu7Y15X1PqsNP-qpDnEjifPwGrFy2uqaDPFrnb5iDdWIKDiv5TD8Zbf4oMdicJ9rCyzLCAXexLNZes440Yfsw7ssc6SnKHOoUWFQXTeYCDGVysVySS22v6lHKPnektE/s1600/purple+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifJSU80K2IvlRsGu7Y15X1PqsNP-qpDnEjifPwGrFy2uqaDPFrnb5iDdWIKDiv5TD8Zbf4oMdicJ9rCyzLCAXexLNZes440Yfsw7ssc6SnKHOoUWFQXTeYCDGVysVySS22v6lHKPnektE/s640/purple+1.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
A purple version and pink version. I used my new Altenew inks that I purchased in a group of four mini ink pads. Colours used were Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Deep Iris and Midnight Violet for purple flower and for the pink flower were the new pinks, Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine and Cosmic Berry. I do have to say that I love these colour inks, much better than the colours I stamped this flower in on previous cards seen <a href="https://girlwithacurlcraft.blogspot.com.au/2016/10/a-beautiful-day-part-3.html"><b><span style="color: magenta;">HERE</span></b></a>. I just think the Altenew purples and pinks are much softer than the ink colours I used previously. That's just my personal opinion.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSNi3YCzy5QuTEAQLfexBxb71Lm_RTeut_-5t44Ddmkcqi9zwQfK85DYKBqOsAebGQnZN9e0ClfhNcbe4dJTOZdpuaYcMtpF8t9yFTIussX0MaOGs1mBQgFy5r8CDdo0DochkVpBEhWcE/s1600/pink+flower+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSNi3YCzy5QuTEAQLfexBxb71Lm_RTeut_-5t44Ddmkcqi9zwQfK85DYKBqOsAebGQnZN9e0ClfhNcbe4dJTOZdpuaYcMtpF8t9yFTIussX0MaOGs1mBQgFy5r8CDdo0DochkVpBEhWcE/s640/pink+flower+1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Some close up photos... of the beautiful gold embossed sentiment included in the Beautiful Day stamp set. The stitched circle was popped up on craft foam to give extra dimension. The flower was also fussy cut and popped up on foam tape. The leaves were stamped directly onto the card stock.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdoKlGS-JNdEAWAlusZZUW8Xe7NBUK7h8xOIZH_6vRI-mFHp-xyA3uWPzgzj2ylMa2cxSkEktUMaK4vL8E_FyMtnA1KmHmJsmorhDcq1FH45mm5_xd4-xrLQ7jvxX8PW_S4KvpthA7ZQg/s1600/pink+closeup+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdoKlGS-JNdEAWAlusZZUW8Xe7NBUK7h8xOIZH_6vRI-mFHp-xyA3uWPzgzj2ylMa2cxSkEktUMaK4vL8E_FyMtnA1KmHmJsmorhDcq1FH45mm5_xd4-xrLQ7jvxX8PW_S4KvpthA7ZQg/s640/pink+closeup+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went over the stamen part of the flower with a black sharpie and then put glossy accents over the top of that. Some lovely gold sequins <strike>randomly</strike> artistically placed on to the card, wink, wink!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
here's a little something again inspired by the amazing Jennifer McGuire over at<b><span style="color: magenta;"> <a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/10/sentiment.html">Jennifer McGuire Ink</a>.</span></b> Jennifer calls this particular technique sentiment backdrop </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
you are probably wondering what I'm talking about, so let's look at my cards to see lol. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJT_4o1sVegioOMQXg2Io_YLw5OVSdXeGQxVciG8bnLAcqK1ytnXIe1zVKevxBfsM-Zwod7dIEEjes2JB_ObjFP6NalLYzZ5s2t9MrDZ4WRCQC9uGCdXaco54EPvVLVh7UDw4GvhyphenhyphenQKnE/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJT_4o1sVegioOMQXg2Io_YLw5OVSdXeGQxVciG8bnLAcqK1ytnXIe1zVKevxBfsM-Zwod7dIEEjes2JB_ObjFP6NalLYzZ5s2t9MrDZ4WRCQC9uGCdXaco54EPvVLVh7UDw4GvhyphenhyphenQKnE/s640/3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgENdlxrzItMhPqz2s2XUAup3y0jsz84sHrCJChosDdGJBMxRWLm0w3kuK4qChN000_crd0XSgN8YbtcAJm-FuOxrTthOG9gV1OzkNRQPuBSwFtekEeMMzjcTPAJ05KNhJ8zh6i8PmUfQ4/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgENdlxrzItMhPqz2s2XUAup3y0jsz84sHrCJChosDdGJBMxRWLm0w3kuK4qChN000_crd0XSgN8YbtcAJm-FuOxrTthOG9gV1OzkNRQPuBSwFtekEeMMzjcTPAJ05KNhJ8zh6i8PmUfQ4/s640/4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx34jkkEVqgJKqmmSkRvuQ14xqCdsxhFEwR2Yvk4icS4cmCYI28oEVmjzRtqNqhdAMaKx5iTEWL_723TBIk2CABlZ57ViEjLdLUoHHw4wlbyiBIWYCu3T-1i2Td5xylonrdXzeFqntfM4/s1600/6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx34jkkEVqgJKqmmSkRvuQ14xqCdsxhFEwR2Yvk4icS4cmCYI28oEVmjzRtqNqhdAMaKx5iTEWL_723TBIk2CABlZ57ViEjLdLUoHHw4wlbyiBIWYCu3T-1i2Td5xylonrdXzeFqntfM4/s640/6.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The sentiment has been stamped in the background. I stamped the fox first, then masked the fox so I could stamp the sentiment over the top down the centre of the CS. If you pop over to <a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/10/sentiment.html"><b><span style="color: magenta;">Jennifer McGuire's blog </span></b></a>she explains this in depth. There is even an amazing video showing you exactly how to do it. It 's so easy to follow, that's what I did to create these cards, nine in total! Click <a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/10/sentiment.html"><b><span style="color: magenta;">HERE</span></b></a> to go to her blog post and video to see for yourself.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I did heat emboss the sentiment that was stamped with black Versa Fine. This particular ink stays wet longer, allowing you time to sprinkle it with clear embossing powder and then heat emboss it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The little heart was brushed with Wink of Stella and then had Ranger's Glossy Accents put on top to give it some shine. You can't see this in the photos but it does look amazing in real life, wink, wink!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are a couple of close up photos to show some detail.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One last photo for you. So what do you think? I really like this technique. It was made easy with my Misti stamping tool . Not necessary to achieve this technique but it certainly does make the job easy with one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUArwHdHvAz0PD1UYMKnd46W0ZQ4pRj83JFBnNn3l2GWaN_Lgov1kR6skLf52rBOPm82R45GupPRYP1cEO9nFfVrk0kYD5jQ8q8lEqPAouJpL-7kSGGAlTjetgo9sDq1NwO-yt7qUbnmM/s1600/8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUArwHdHvAz0PD1UYMKnd46W0ZQ4pRj83JFBnNn3l2GWaN_Lgov1kR6skLf52rBOPm82R45GupPRYP1cEO9nFfVrk0kYD5jQ8q8lEqPAouJpL-7kSGGAlTjetgo9sDq1NwO-yt7qUbnmM/s640/8.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'd love to hear if you try this technique. Don't forget to pop over to <a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/10/sentiment.html"><b><span style="color: magenta;">Jennifer's blog </span></b></a>to see just how easy it is. Jennifer explains and shows you how to do this. Go on give it a try, you'll love it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a fabulous day.</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
today I have the cutest little 3D item to show you. They were (yes there are three of them!) made using the new Home Sweet Home Thinlets Dies from Stampin' Up.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUsPcoLResumYN769RRLcjNRB5tl7dg82HOrhI7fy77V1ur7ilBMJ213HgsqDP4sr50JmXk_URIiYcZyaD0LaO9CUGOmYUGnyesyl-rOExuZDCdpTN7E9jJ0qkuEarNveROkrB3-bioyA/s1600/35.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUsPcoLResumYN769RRLcjNRB5tl7dg82HOrhI7fy77V1ur7ilBMJ213HgsqDP4sr50JmXk_URIiYcZyaD0LaO9CUGOmYUGnyesyl-rOExuZDCdpTN7E9jJ0qkuEarNveROkrB3-bioyA/s320/35.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Aren't they just adorable or what?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Before I go any further I was inspired by<a href="http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/blog/tim-holtz-village-dies-haunted-mansion/"> <b><span style="color: magenta;">this great post</span></b></a><b><span style="color: magenta;"> </span></b>and video over at the Simon Says Blog. Click <a href="http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/blog/tim-holtz-village-dies-haunted-mansion/"><b><span style="color: magenta;">HERE</span></b></a> to see what I'm talking about, you will be amazed. Now I don't have the Tim Holtz Village dies so I couldn't re-create it nor do I have any of the distress inks or texture paste or anything that Shari used in the video. What's a girl to do when faced with this dilemma? Buy all the stuff or see what I had that I could use? Seeing as I had not long purchased the Home Sweet Home Thinlets Dies and hadn't used them my dilemma was sort of solved.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My first house was the experimental house, you know the one where you try different stuff and see what works and what <b style="font-style: italic;">does not....</b>yes there was quite a bit of does not lol.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfqmMuyrrF1UiGWhDiQJMdjcfOvx5EOectGZuNWKsSw7OsHlGxxIHXHz4i9uFK9uZ_o35Pt-X_aa53LZ4RtcyaEja85TNd18z28UPuIHlKwfFpUVkf4YzDJw3xJvKIFJp1C-WyCw37d0M/s1600/11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfqmMuyrrF1UiGWhDiQJMdjcfOvx5EOectGZuNWKsSw7OsHlGxxIHXHz4i9uFK9uZ_o35Pt-X_aa53LZ4RtcyaEja85TNd18z28UPuIHlKwfFpUVkf4YzDJw3xJvKIFJp1C-WyCw37d0M/s320/11.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8VrbKWkXOa8ykjxD0YdQbZz2d_cki1gZ_rqB-kOGZbbV5Znx43i8wOuRBBWPoV9jIzYZIOsjYeRLGEmsReS1f1yCO93wY-59PlFOYpvHxgtckI5j-8Rp05pPCrpSzIhPhg8u2XHbaajM/s1600/12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8VrbKWkXOa8ykjxD0YdQbZz2d_cki1gZ_rqB-kOGZbbV5Znx43i8wOuRBBWPoV9jIzYZIOsjYeRLGEmsReS1f1yCO93wY-59PlFOYpvHxgtckI5j-8Rp05pPCrpSzIhPhg8u2XHbaajM/s320/12.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibtFCAaT8d31_hre9gfl5QrUUUv6uxExN9OfuGsf77ufb_vEkda31xUT1uka0NJpD9kKyFzJvmoIh1G5rYzPbeL-HfJQHq5R43Dmo-8G5eTF3z6gAPs4TTzq5L3x086-FahJ2stZCJqyY/s1600/13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibtFCAaT8d31_hre9gfl5QrUUUv6uxExN9OfuGsf77ufb_vEkda31xUT1uka0NJpD9kKyFzJvmoIh1G5rYzPbeL-HfJQHq5R43Dmo-8G5eTF3z6gAPs4TTzq5L3x086-FahJ2stZCJqyY/s320/13.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used Basic Grey CS for the house, Black CS for the window and door trims as well as the roof, all from Stampin' Up. Once I had run all the dies with the paper through the Big Shot and cut out all the pieces I would need, I set about "oldenizing" ( yes it's a word it means grunging up lol) my house.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To do this I found in my stamp stash a very old grungy background stamp from Kaisercraft (I have had it for so long I don't know the name of it sorry). I stamped all over the walls of the house pieces using Old Olive, Basic Grey and Black ink from Stampin' Up to give it a mottled, crumbling & really old look. I then attached all the trims around the windows and doors with glue. I attached the roof I had cut out of black CS. For the door I cut another small piece of the grey CS and stamped it with the Hardwood background stamp from Stampin' Up in black and attached a small brad from my stash & glued it on top of the existing door. It looked great so far but it was missing something. I found some medical gauze I had in my craft stash from years gone by.... I think it was from when I tried my hand at shabby chic crafting - something I am not good at and avoid at all costs!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anywhoo back to the gauze, I stamped it with black and silver ink and then artistically draped it over part of the roof and around the doors and windows.....faux cobwebs anyone?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglcuLZeH7uUmx4HcXXfbzmtZcjKZOUzoPiVKwGUTwRYbKBDHFNmCf93KBWGdPBDDvFi7eh9l3cbmeXZGNtQ0orjjhz8bdtk7mivvrqQHKJ2Ylwo1H2kPW3i7czMsAeEwCyq5z7HgT8TFQ/s1600/12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglcuLZeH7uUmx4HcXXfbzmtZcjKZOUzoPiVKwGUTwRYbKBDHFNmCf93KBWGdPBDDvFi7eh9l3cbmeXZGNtQ0orjjhz8bdtk7mivvrqQHKJ2Ylwo1H2kPW3i7czMsAeEwCyq5z7HgT8TFQ/s320/12.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was quite chuffed at this stage with my haunted house so I decided to make two more. I mean why not right? I had out all the stuff, my fingers were already covered in ink I may as well. When it came to the roof this time I thought it looked too new....mmmm how could I grunge up black CS? Black ink wouldn't really show up unless I heat embossed it....mmmm light bulb moment was when I had a go at stamping it with that grungy back ground stamp using silver ink. Eureka it looked like it had lichen growing on the shingled roof. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can just sort of see it in the photo below. It was really hard to photograph the houses to show up the details properly with the natural light available ( it was quite overcast here at the time). They look so much better in real life.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm certainly on a roll with my creating and posts.... the question is,how long will I be able to maintain my momentum? Mmmmmmm....the answer is "How long is a piece of string?"</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
OK onto today's cards. I was inspired by the super talented and awesomely creative and all round lovely person Jennifer McGuire over at<b><span style="color: magenta;"> <a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/blog">Jennifer McGuire Ink</a></span></b>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="text-align: center;">If truth be told I just copied Jennifer's cards using what I had. I didn't do the inlay technique Jennifer showed in her video and on her blog, I 'll explain why later. Click </span><a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/09/stripe.html" style="text-align: center;"><b><span style="color: magenta;">HERE</span></b></a><span style="text-align: center;"> to go to Jennifer's blog post with her video.</span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;"> </span><span style="text-align: center;">I grabbed my scrap pieces of CS and cut them into strips.</span><span style="text-align: center;">I adhered my coloured strips of paper onto another piece of thick white CS. </span><span style="text-align: center;">It looked super.</span><span style="text-align: center;"> It</span><span style="text-align: center;"> was just too thick to die cut the word 'love' out of though as Jennifer had.</span><span style="text-align: center;"> </span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiYgJ13X_cP25LHTmH2ulGyTAwOuxGn1u_zEelSfhy2yPL_jM-_9yZQNaiXbqMKIjye2Igghk3h_SMsO4H6wZf0ekDEgSfSmSqt-mRfIbnEADi2-RFhBKKGVKWVkdfoCblbS8PudxJktA/s1600/9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiYgJ13X_cP25LHTmH2ulGyTAwOuxGn1u_zEelSfhy2yPL_jM-_9yZQNaiXbqMKIjye2Igghk3h_SMsO4H6wZf0ekDEgSfSmSqt-mRfIbnEADi2-RFhBKKGVKWVkdfoCblbS8PudxJktA/s640/9.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;"> </span><span style="text-align: center;">Instead I die cut the word out of black CS. I then covered the word with glossy accents and sprinkled a bit of dazzling diamonds glitter </span><span style="text-align: center;">over the word</span><span style="text-align: center;"> while the glossy accents was still wet. </span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="text-align: center;"> Once the glossy accents had dried I just attached the word "love" to the stripey piece. The stripey piece was backed with black CS to give a small border top and bottom of the stripey piece and then attached onto a card front. Pretty simple really!</span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;"> One last photo of both cards for you.</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Given that I made sixteen of these lovelies, I decided that if I bundled them up into groups of four (there are four different coloured backgrounds) I could give them as gift sets. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had a bit of a play around with the packaging and came up with two types. Both similar just the closure a little different. The first type was inspired by this one<span style="color: magenta;"><b> <a href="http://www.michellelast.co.uk/2016/08/note-card-box-using-touches-texture.html">HERE</a></b></span>. Mine is not nearly so lovely as the one the lovely Michelle made. I was actually just experimenting at this stage. I didn't follow the measurements from this post rather measured mine out myself to fit my card dimensions. The closure flap is a piece of DSP from Stampin' Up, glued to the back of my box and then folded over the top with the front piece cut on an angle. Here are the photos so you can see.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
As you can see it closes just like a normal box and has a belly band around the middle to help keep it closed and to add a bit of decoration. The flower I stamped on the belly band is the same flower that is on the cards inside the boxes from the A Beautiful Day stamp set from Altenew. I made three boxes with the belly band and one box with the decorative flap. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So what do you think? Which closure is your favourite? The box is simple to make and just takes one sheet of A4 CS. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Have a lovely day.</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
back again with another group of cards using my new favourite stamp set A Beautiful Day by Altenew. AND no I'm not sick of it yet, I hope you aren't lol.<br />
<br />
I am entering these cards into a Challenge over at Altenew, it's called <b><a href="http://altenewblog.com/2016/09/13/ultimate-challenge-blog-hop/" style="color: magenta;">Altenew's Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop</a>. </b>Do pop over and see what it's all about.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
Four beautiful cards in different colours. I have made eight of these. The blue flower is stamped directly onto the card, I masked the flower to stamp the leaves. The other coloured flowers were all fussy cut and stuck over the top of the stamped leaves. It had been my intention to stamp all the flowers directly onto the card....but smudges of ink around the flowers that couldn't be hidden with artfully arranged sequins lol meant I either throw the whole thing out and start again or fussy cut the flowers out and just stamp more leaves. Obviously I went with that option, after all I had stamped the flowers I just couldn't throw them out there was nothing wrong with them!</div>

In the next photo you can just see a hint of Wink of Stella on the petals. I coloured over the stamens with a black sharpie, then went over the black dots of the stamens with glossy accents. I think you can just see the shine of the glossy accents in the photo.</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
back again with another group of cards featuring my brand new and all time favourite stamp A Beautiful Day by Altenew. These cards were inspired by some I saw over at Jennifer McGuire Ink. Click <a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/02/pencil.html"><b><span style="color: magenta;">HERE</span></b></a> to see the amazingly talented Jennifer's beautiful cards.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These were pretty easy to do. Again I used my MISTI- Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented and yes it is, wink, wink ;) The only ink I used was white craft ink by Stampin'Up, so these cards were quick to make. So quick that I made 16 in one go! A quick apology for the photos. I took these photos of the cards lying flat on the floor not standing up, as the lighting was not as good when I took them standing up. The coloured piece does have an even amount of white border around all four sides. I hope that makes sense?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's a few individual photos that show some more detail.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I did pop the coloured panel up. This time I used a sheet of craft foam I cut to size to fit behind the coloured panel to give the dimension rather than dimensionals or foam tape. It gives an even coverage of dimension that won't flatten out in dips when you post these cards. I managed to get a few large size sheets of white craft foam for 99 cents at Riot Art. I got this idea from the super talented and amazing Jennifer McGuire over at <a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/blog"><b><span style="color: magenta;">Jennifer McGuire Ink</span></b></a>, she uses craft foam when she makes cards to give dimension, so I thought I'd try it out. "Winner, winner chicken dinner!" I will definitely be using this from now on. If you click <span style="color: magenta;"><b><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWYtapqDllw"><span style="color: magenta;">HERE</span></a> </b></span>it will take you to Jennifer's explanation of how to and why she uses craft foam. It's just a short video but very informative. <br />

coloured panel.<br />
<br />
<br />
This photo shows the craft foam and the dimension it gives.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I did make a couple of other cards where I adhered the coloured panel directly to the white card base without craft foam, so no dimension. They looked good too, I just preferred the dimension the craft foam gave. Here is a photo of that style card.<br />

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
another crafty offering here with my new favourite stamp set, Beautiful Day by Altenew.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's a four step stamp set. It gives an amazing effect that looks like you have hand coloured your stamped image, then added shading and highlights. Whilst I love colouring, I am rubbish at shading and highlighting. With this gorgeous stamp set all the guess work is done for me. I just have to choose four coloured inks that work well together. I chose four colours that were all from one colour family just in different hues, too easy.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE1-0tsfGKq10GUwWMyN_Q9IcEyUybNVmEXg5HiGoqbQaA-k1WvL9Zhyphenhyphendd4u7P6Y3XtyxxoI42OQ53nUJDpA7tlJEn1RTj7oQ9LFC7eL9x6L3xgckuMYlLzrRk6Y7Xrg4tY-JbYCRxKFk/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE1-0tsfGKq10GUwWMyN_Q9IcEyUybNVmEXg5HiGoqbQaA-k1WvL9Zhyphenhyphendd4u7P6Y3XtyxxoI42OQ53nUJDpA7tlJEn1RTj7oQ9LFC7eL9x6L3xgckuMYlLzrRk6Y7Xrg4tY-JbYCRxKFk/s640/1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The images were easy to line up as they are photopolymer stamps. Having said that I did use my brand new straight out of the box MISTI, a stamp positioning tool.....let me just say it's aaaamazing! The yellow flower was fussy cut and popped up with dimensionals. A few sequins popped on <strike>to cover up</strike> some ink splodges and "ta da" my card was done.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next few cards were done the same way but are just slightly different. Take a look....</div>

One last photo of all three cards together. I am totally in love with this four step stamp set and I can't wait to get my hands on more of this type of stamp. I did spy more of this type of stamp set at my local stamping store all by Altenew, I must check them out when I pop back. They make the cards look, as I said hand coloured.<br />
<br />
Have a marvellous day.<br />
Cheers Donna :)</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
yes back again with some more crafty goodness.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yes I'm using the Thoughtful Branches stamp set and coordinating dies, Beautiful Branches thinlets from Stampin' Up again. I was inspired by<a href="http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com.au/2016/08/thoughtful-branches-thank-you-matchbook.html"> <span style="color: magenta;"><b>this creation</b></span></a> over at Becky Robert's blog <a href="http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com.au/2016/08/thoughtful-branches-thank-you-matchbook.html"><span style="color: magenta;"><b>Inkin Idaho</b></span></a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLjawFKDS7cCHOkl4XiZhcUSx7q3Jllt_lcmf3c5Olxa__NHkXw_zFjwM1TlFTeUMthbaA0bzwnO-DjNvCq1GpbS01q3XLK7HJzNAXl57dkU2ulzp1nEm25VQVLaI_3P3n3wgSPauwRvA/s1600/10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLjawFKDS7cCHOkl4XiZhcUSx7q3Jllt_lcmf3c5Olxa__NHkXw_zFjwM1TlFTeUMthbaA0bzwnO-DjNvCq1GpbS01q3XLK7HJzNAXl57dkU2ulzp1nEm25VQVLaI_3P3n3wgSPauwRvA/s640/10.jpg" width="640" /></a> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made a couple of these cards, they were pretty quick and easy. I do have to say that stamping onto the die cut proved a little challenging. I found lining up the leaves not that easy. The die cut kept moving as I was hovering the clear block over the top to make sure of perfect alignment, thus making the stamping not quite lining up. In the end I put a bit of snail on scrap paper, ran my finger over it a few times to trake away some of the tackiness. I stuck the die cut on to this and then stamped......yes "winner, winner chicken dinner" the stamped image was more or less aligned correctly. It's still not 100%, but by my calculations 98% is pretty awesome.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidQV4l018niLznJsgLfr3WZL4GmYBz_vc1mqhlVGIp6zIHtXqWFlJUhhSXmwTPmzgWAZfIhOsT5lMRyASESRevk-LyqBqMgqzPZywV_NY_KMbMXk9xmwHgsyVrsU9G6hMbyrWme3kMF9Q/s1600/12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidQV4l018niLznJsgLfr3WZL4GmYBz_vc1mqhlVGIp6zIHtXqWFlJUhhSXmwTPmzgWAZfIhOsT5lMRyASESRevk-LyqBqMgqzPZywV_NY_KMbMXk9xmwHgsyVrsU9G6hMbyrWme3kMF9Q/s640/12.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
A side view so you can see the dimension achieved through using lots of dimensionals lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-oKz_TNh4s4N9mNTzjbUKx9ouqx5GgItzaeBTHINnp_Pm0yzKxoRG-m_f1NXQr-P6hloqheJy1r3q50WgzP5FaGwnHdUMC6vSsWcSvnDu7Q9jl1tSa6IB9Ke2yV4MoTeePS5wniwXsXY/s1600/13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-oKz_TNh4s4N9mNTzjbUKx9ouqx5GgItzaeBTHINnp_Pm0yzKxoRG-m_f1NXQr-P6hloqheJy1r3q50WgzP5FaGwnHdUMC6vSsWcSvnDu7Q9jl1tSa6IB9Ke2yV4MoTeePS5wniwXsXY/s640/13.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And finally here are the two completed cards. This would be easy to whip up many in the different colour combinations that hydrangeas come in, blue, purple, pink and white and give away as gift sets. I think my mum would like something like this.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hoping your day is magnificent!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cheers Donna :)</div>

Hi there, </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm so glad you popped by for another visit to my blog.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a sweet card for you today. I was totally smitten when I saw <a href="http://www.thecreativitycave.com/my_weblog/2016/07/osat-blog-hop-shabby-chic.html"><b><span style="color: magenta;">this card</span></b></a> over at <a href="http://www.thecreativitycave.com/my_weblog/2016/07/osat-blog-hop-shabby-chic.html"><b><span style="color: magenta;">The Creativity Cave</span></b></a>, Dena Rekow's blog. Dena is hilarious, she makes awesome videos of how to make cards and they always make me laugh, her sense of humour is 'just wicked' ( Aussie term meaning hilarious)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgcl5QUvwneWELIkqkAV0IeIU8HFxMH6sxCwY_kDfkjpk4L-IaVz-euwuMhAJCLL34XOGb6LfUKjpm1ZVQ42A_MDNfpXJWMGajFvnVLDKhAfim7VbJWBFQnasxUNlODthcMU9HMil91zc/s1600/6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgcl5QUvwneWELIkqkAV0IeIU8HFxMH6sxCwY_kDfkjpk4L-IaVz-euwuMhAJCLL34XOGb6LfUKjpm1ZVQ42A_MDNfpXJWMGajFvnVLDKhAfim7VbJWBFQnasxUNlODthcMU9HMil91zc/s640/6.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My card is a different colour scheme and is slightly different but you can see it's pretty true to Dena's card. I mean why mess up a winning formula, especially when you love it so much?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9wG6bGvw_wohr_wvyH_koORcn8U0ZBlY-Se-MsB4M8Sityuq11Ad0rygO5PwBn5UnD18JMNN4Gbt_N1j6VsxxR9nEnVkeVY2b-WqpvTapFaUA8EacwdBqT9NAWBXyP4weehqVYUcxqjE/s1600/7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9wG6bGvw_wohr_wvyH_koORcn8U0ZBlY-Se-MsB4M8Sityuq11Ad0rygO5PwBn5UnD18JMNN4Gbt_N1j6VsxxR9nEnVkeVY2b-WqpvTapFaUA8EacwdBqT9NAWBXyP4weehqVYUcxqjE/s640/7.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I cut out two flower heads and mounted one on top of the other with dimensionals and then mounted it onto the stem with more dimensionals..... .must order some more!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made three of these cards, to send to some of my mum's friends to thanks them for hosting a lovely morning tea for my self and my daughter recently. Sorry about the poor quality lighting, I took these late in the afternoon.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you like today's card, I love it. I will have to make some more in different colours, pink, blues and whites....these are all the colours I have seen hydrangeas come in.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a magnificent day. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cheers Donna :)</div>

Hi there,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
back again with heat embossing a thinlit die cut and it looks AAAAAAMAZING!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVSYBkElicOvBBkjYj-XoqTJY96_llLBsuu5mTjc9DxOLyywPNvcqAxvleX7aaKq-JLIdQPKjWqtsSFz-ePjt2xFAvVnDVuDJO-knbwVswoCKuSIrEenk-jIRijTOwlJ7hAnZmpfyBCQk/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVSYBkElicOvBBkjYj-XoqTJY96_llLBsuu5mTjc9DxOLyywPNvcqAxvleX7aaKq-JLIdQPKjWqtsSFz-ePjt2xFAvVnDVuDJO-knbwVswoCKuSIrEenk-jIRijTOwlJ7hAnZmpfyBCQk/s640/1.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I saw this awesome technique, faux metallic embellishments, over on an absolutely amazing blog, <span style="color: magenta; font-weight: bold;"><span style="color: magenta;"><a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/08/metal.html">Jennifer McGuire Ink</a>.</span> </span>Jennifer showed how to create your own embellishments using thinlet dies. She even has a video and talks you through the process. Very easy to play along at home with your own dies. So I followed along and came up with this card.<br />
<br />
I cut out the thinlet image 3 times and glued each layer together to create a sturdy 3D tree. Next I inked over the tree with Versamark and then dipped it into copper embossing powder, zapped it with the heat gun and repeated this process 4 times to give a nice thick coating of copper to the tree. Hopefully you can see how thick the tree is in this side on photo below.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizUAgWOMRExLeNlBidF0JMA_V_ADkp2kLdTd9gajlKq1uxRq4D0gwCAnzWHL8Nli98bGysFAIhK9MRn7vU2i7dpsN26SzPUg62hDrJYU3WK7SawzT-wENCWqJjUtA41rcKKimdY348XlI/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizUAgWOMRExLeNlBidF0JMA_V_ADkp2kLdTd9gajlKq1uxRq4D0gwCAnzWHL8Nli98bGysFAIhK9MRn7vU2i7dpsN26SzPUg62hDrJYU3WK7SawzT-wENCWqJjUtA41rcKKimdY348XlI/s640/3.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
Here's a close up of the tree. I mounted the tree onto craft card stock that I had flicked with glue and then sprinkled with silver glitter.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMhRYBt-X5JsGVfWleFHlqwKXz0C2QNvPzW_A0tIVQotNwJyswuxo_g5-x2trz3Eq1wRlYH9U1rZm02HGYcGgpN171uMdqzJmu2jmqYwu0XgiiIfw9RNCuX13hn2vMno0c993yNW11x7k/s1600/5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMhRYBt-X5JsGVfWleFHlqwKXz0C2QNvPzW_A0tIVQotNwJyswuxo_g5-x2trz3Eq1wRlYH9U1rZm02HGYcGgpN171uMdqzJmu2jmqYwu0XgiiIfw9RNCuX13hn2vMno0c993yNW11x7k/s640/5.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
The sentiment was was stamped with black ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder that I had mixed with a little bit of silver glitter as well.<br />

So what do you think? I love this idea and can't wait to do some more. Lots of ideas swirling around in my head, too many to know what to do next. I may have to start writing them down and then make my way through the list. That way I won't forget anything......lol. Well that's the plan!<br />

Don't forget to pop over to <a href="http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2016/08/metal.html"><b><span style="color: magenta;">Jennifer McGuire Ink</span></b></a> to check out this technique and the many other's she has, you won't be disappointed!<br />

Have an amazing day - yes I know over use of the word amazing in this blog post!<br />
